Mine is not worth posting or even mentioning this year. So without further ado, here is Mason's masterpiece!

Giggle pants
Townes has let out little giggles here and there, but this video captures one of his first all-out laughs. Little bugger just melts my heart and makes me grin.

3-piece
Check out this epic painting Mason did. Our good friend
Chris commissioned it for a wedding present. Chris
is the guitarist. I really love the way this one turned out,
particularly the wood background, and how Mason made the guitar and bass look
like they are made of wood.
The drums look so awesome with all the metal parts and highlights, but I’ll tell ya what, that stencil (particularly the white layer) took sooooooo long. It was an all-nighter for sure. I kept coming out to the kitchen to check on Mason each time Townes woke up for a feeding, and for two of the feedings, he was still working on the white layer. Yeah. That’s 6 hours on ONE layer. Let alone the time it took to cut the other layers, prep the wood, build the frame, and paint the other layers. But it was definitely worth the time. The happy couple loved their present, and the other two members of the band ended up ordering a painting of their own as well.

None But Some Falling Rain
Two of our bestest friends, Cameron and Chamonix got married on October 1. The wedding was simply perfect and I honestly can't think of a better match than those two. Mason painted them the picture below as their wedding gift, and I LOVE the way it turned out. It's on wood and plexi (which he hasn't used in awhile). Happy wedding to the Johnstons!
