The Precinct at New Song Underground 2/11/09

Our last show at Sundance was jolly good.

And the free movie tickets and Sundance credentials were the icing on top of the jolly goodness. I saw Brief Interviews With Hideous Men, The Maid, We Live in Public, and The September Issue, the last of which was my favorite (a documentary about Anna Wintour--ice queen and editor of Vogue).

Our next show is a week from today, details below, flyer by Mason of course. We just learned a new cover: "Skinny Love" by Bon Iver that we're going to try and bust out.

It's a cruel, cruel not-summer

As if I didn't miss camping enough as it is already, amidst the bleakest, coldest, inversion-y-est month of the winter... Then, Serena had to give me these photos from an early September weekend at Payson Lakes that made me drool and cry and long for summer even more than I thought possible. Thanks a lot, Serena. Now winter's a lot more bearable.
